FAQ / International Taxation
Can I consult you about
taxes outside Japan?
Yes. Our office handles Japanese tax matters and works with local specialists on overseas taxation.
We assess the tax implications in both Japan and the foreign jurisdiction.
We assist with cross-border matters such as overseas transactions, establishing foreign operations, and owner-managers relocating abroad. We review both sides' tax implications rather than considering only Japan or the overseas jurisdiction.
Accounting and tax systems and professional qualifications differ by country. As a Japanese tax accounting office, we handle Japanese taxation, while local accountants, tax advisers, and other specialists provide advice and filing services under their country's laws.
OneAsia ↗ We use overseas professional networks, including this network, to propose a team suited to your needs. Countries, regions, and the scope of work are confirmed before engagement.
You do not need to change your current tax adviser.
You may retain your current adviser for day-to-day accounting and domestic returns while engaging us only for international tax matters. We cooperate with the existing adviser and provide ongoing support as a second tax adviser.
For ongoing advice, see International tax advisor, and for advice on individual matters, see International tax consultation Please see
