Who is Kenji and his company?
Born in 1976. His grandfather, father and uncle were also CPA or CPTA in Japan.
Graduated from Keio university in 1999. – Bachelor, Economics
Graduated from Keio graduated school in 2001. – Master, Economics and Public Finance
Employed as a tax professional at tax division of Arthur Andersen and KPMG in Tokyo, Japan from 2002.
In 2004, Yanagisawa and Company was established by Kenji Yanagisawa.
In 2007, a paper “Uncertainty taxation ” written by Kenji won the 30th best Japanese tax research award.
In 2008, Yanagisawa Research Institute Co., Ltd. was established by Kenji Yanagisawa.
In 2011, a network of asian accounting firms, “OneAsia” was established by Kenji Yanagisawa, and Yanagisawa and Company joined OneAsia as an official member at Tokyo.
In 2013, Yanagisawa and Company joined “Premier international” which is a network of about 40 countries’ accounting firms.
